Cannes Lions Canadian Awarding Jury 2025: Seven Canadian industry leaders named to prestigious Cannes juries

The Globe and Mail, Canada’s official representative for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, is pleased to share the Canadian Cannes Lions Awarding Jurors for 2025. These selected jurors are industry leaders who will be reviewing and awarding the winning work during the 2025 festival taking place June 16-20 in Cannes, France. The shortlist jurors will be announced shortly.  

Canada’s 2025 Awarding Jurors are: 

Outdoor Lions:  Graham Lang | Chief Creative Officer, VML, Canada 

Film Craft Lions: Yael Staav | Director, Furlined / Merchant, Canada 

Creative Data Lions: Samantha Kelley | CEO, Touché!, Canada 

Entertainment Lions for Music:  Taj Critchlow | Founder and Executive Producer, Fela, Canada 

Entertainment Lions for Sport: Xavier Blais | Partner, Executive Creative Director, Rethink, Canada 

PR Lions:  Krista Webster | CEO, Veritas Communications; Meat & Produce, Canada 

Dan Wieden Titanium Lions:  Judy John, Jury President | Global Chief Creative Officer, Edelman, Canada

Each year, in consultation with the Canadian Cannes Lions Advisory Board, The Globe and Mail submits a juror nomination list made up of Canada’s top industry leaders, with Cannes Lions making the final selections.  Juries are curated to ensure balanced global representation with a balance of agency, network, holding company, independents, gender and diversity.
