Scott Pinkney, Publicis Hawkeye
With over 35 years of experience working in New York, the UK and Toronto, Scott is a leading Creative Strategist, Brand Ambassador and Relationship Marketer. In 2015 Scott was brought into Publicis to launch Hawkeye, a new 1:1 Customer Engagement Practice. Scott brings his experience and deep understanding of consumer insights, creative strategy, and data intelligence to drive powerful marketing ideas for Hawkeye’s clients. Today the agency has grown to 150+ strong working on world-class brands such as Four Seasons, DQ, Citi, FCA, and Hennessey.
Before joining Publicis, Scott had the privilege of working at Ogilvy in three countries. He then co-founded Mosaic Direct & Interactive, moved to DRAFTFCB/Rivet, and then to BBDO/Proximity where he deepened his passion for digital.
In addition to being an award-winning Creative Director with numerous industry Awards under his belt, Scott has had the privilege of judging at the 2006 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in the inaugural year of the Direct Category, and will be returning in 2023 on the awarding jury for Creative Data.
Scott served on the Board of Governors of the ANA International ECHO Awards for five years and most recently was appointed to the CMA Board of Directors. Outside of his day-to-day client leadership, Scott co-created and launched ‘This Is The Job’ – an important Publicis Groupe diversity, equity and inclusiveness initiative to help guide racialized high school students into the world of Advertising & Marketing. The response has been humbling and inspiring.
Scott’s creativity isn’t reserved for his clients; he is also an accomplished fine artist and recently completed his first audio book recording for his father Jerry Pinkney’s memoir, Just Jerry.
