Mike Dubrick, Rethink
Mike is a Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Rethink Toronto. Rethink is a global creative agency with offices in Toronto, New York, Montreal, and Vancouver. In 2023, Mike helped lead Rethink to the #2 Independent Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions, and Ad Age’s Creative Agency of the Year two of the last three years. In 2024, he helped Rethink land the #1 independent agency spot in both the WARC World Creative Rankings and The Drum Global Creative rankings.
Mike’s work has been recognized over 100 times at Cannes Lions – most recently for campaigns like Penguin’s Unburnable Book, Decathlon’s Ability Signs and multiple campaigns for Heinz, including Draw Ketchup, Pour Perfectly, Heinz Puzzle, Hot Dog Pact, and Ketchup Fraud. In 2020, Ad Age named Mike Creative Director of the Year – the first Canadian ever to earn the accolade. He holds two Guinness World Records and has had work featured in Time Magazine, CNN, The Tonight Show, and twice on Jimmy Kimmel on the same night.
Outside of Rethink, Mike is a passionate advocate for the next generation of creative talent – and sits as Creative Chair at Miami Ad School.
