The Canadian Cannes Lions Advisory Board has the honour of putting forward Canadian nominees for consideration as jurors for the 2027 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Nominations for the 2027 Festival can be made by submitting the nomination form by Monday, September 21, 2026. The Canadian Cannes Lions Advisory Board will review all submissions and contact those selected to be put forward as official Canadian nominees to Cannes Lions.
Cannes Lions uses a regional framework to help ensure its juries reflect the diversity of the global creative community. Within each region, markets are allocated a number of jury positions based on factors including recent participation and success, with additional positions available as wildcards.
For 2027, Canada is guaranteed seven Awarding Jury positions and four Shortlist Jury positions, without specific category allocations. Once nominations have been submitted, Cannes Lions will determine the categories and candidates best suited to each jury. This approach provides greater flexibility to match the strongest talent with the most appropriate categories.
When submitting a nomination, please indicate up to five award categories for which the nominee would be best suited. Nominees should also be available to participate in judging and, where required, travel to Cannes, France in June 2027.
Please tell us why your nominee should be considered for a Cannes Lions jury. We encourage you to highlight their expertise in the selected categories, along with key achievements, awards, career milestones, passion projects or other experience that would strengthen their nomination.
