The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Magazine celebrated the release of its inaugural Women Lead Here list with a virtual event on September 18, featuring several guest speakers and representatives from the companies appearing on the 2020 WLH list.
The Women Lead Here (WLH) program has been in the works for over a year and was devised as a method of tracking gender equity among corporate Canada’s most successful companies.
With over 1,900 registered attendees, leaders of corporate Canada shared, discussed, and debated the strategies and tactics large firms can use to improve female representation in executive positions. With support from Gold Sponsors CITI and CPP Investments as well as Supporting Partner Colliers International, the event brought forward crucial conversations that will shape the future of work in Canada.
Small Business Summit
How are small business owners adapting to the pandemic? The Globe and Mail hosted its 5th annual Small Business Summit on October 7 to bring entrepreneurs and experts together to share strategies for resiliency and growth in a turbulent year.
With participation from Presenting Sponsor PayPal and Platinum Sponsors CIBC, Facebook and Staples, the Summit engaged over 750 registrants over the course of the half-day virtual event, with event hashtag #GlobeSBS20 generating over 3.8 million impressions spanning 2.3 million users.
